to 'La Source'!
We
chose this name for our house for three reasons:
in the courtyard is a well which we believe dates
back to the initial construction of the house in
the 17th century, there is also another water
source running underneath the house and thirdly we
find here a wonderful source of tranquility and
well-being. |

La
Source is
a beautiful restored Provencal house dating from
the 17th century situated near the magnificent
Provence towns of Uzès and Nîmes.
The house is located in a
picturesque village with superb views over the
surrounding countryside, it's own private
courtyards, outdoor sitting area and swimming
pool.
It is tastefully furnished and
decorated and in perfect harmony with the ancient
architecture and traditions of this majestic part
of France.

La
Source can sleep 6
to 8 people.
All bedrooms are spacious, two of
them have en-suite bathrooms and one has
its own separate shower room. All bedrooms are
furnished with large double beds. Part of the attic has been
converted into a fourth sleeping area with a
double bed.

La
Source has
retained all its traditional architectural
features including original stone walls, wooden
beams and provencal ceilings. The restoration, by
one of France's leading architects, allows guests
to enjoy the authenticity of an old house but in a
light-filled environment with all modern
amenities.

The swimming pool
has been designed as an area where you can relax
and seek refuge from the heat that engulfs this
area of France during the summer months. We have
gone to great lengths to integrate the pool into
the décor of the house, in-keeping with the style
of a Provencal townhouse, hence its design and
shape.
